Two Russian citizens Bislan Rasaev and Shamil Temirkhanov were declared wanted via Interpol in connection with attempted murder of ex-official Komil Allamjonov. They are accused of illegal entry and exit from Uzbekistan, failure to report a crime and illegal trafficking of firearms.
Prosecutor General’s Office said a total of seven suspects had been detained in attempted assassination of former presidential administration official Komil Allamjonov. Five are in custody, two were on the run. One suspect Javlon Yunusov was detained in South Korea and extradited to Uzbekistan.
General Prosecutor’s Office said four suspects linked to the shooting at the car of Komil Allamjonov, former Presidential Administration official, had been detained.
Two unidentified men shot several times at a Range Rover near Tashkent, with Komil Allamjonov, former official at the Presidents Administration, in the car. He and the driver were not injured. A search for the suspects is underway.
